Senior Physicians

At Open MRI/Imagimed®, we have a unique combination of senior physicians which allows us to deliver a higher level of healthcare. Our directors are radiologists and non-radiologist specialists in other medical specialties. This unique configuration helps us deliver a specific diagnosis and real answers to healthcare questions asked by your treating physician. When physicians send patients for an MRI, they are asking questions. They do not want a non-specific report with a long list of possibilities, because this does not help them take care of you. What they do want are answers. At Open MRI/Imagimed® we promise to deliver clear and understandable medical reports which specifically answer questions asked by your physician and provide a specific diagnosis.

We understand how busy your treating physician’s office can be, because some of our senior physicians are, in fact, treating physicians, not radiologists. Therefore, our practice is designed with your treating physician’s office in mind. We take care of the scheduling and reporting, and we do our best to make sure that when you call your doctor’s office, the report is already there so that the Nursing staff is not inconvenienced. The preliminary report is faxed to your physician’s office and the final report is both faxed and mailed. As well, as soon as it is transcribed and within 24 hours of your study, the report is available online on our MedWeb® system. This makes our service unique in the medical field, and is designed to streamline your patient care.
